Ok, we know – budgets are always tight in the non-profit arts sector, but we can dream, right? Fellow ArtsHacker Drew McManus put together his letter to Santa over at Adaptistration, and here’s my last minute wish-list this year:

Adobe Creative Cloud membership

Maybe it’s just me, but having the latest and greatest software and hardware does make me feel good. (I wouldn’t turn down a new 5K iMac either, if Santa’s feeling generous…)

Coffee

AKA “Lifeblood” AKA “The only reason the season brochure gets done on time”

An Email Free Day

I’m the kind of person that would rather receive an email than a phone call, but that said, some designated distraction-free time goes a long way for my productivity. I’ve long been a fan of the email charter, by the way.

More Subscribers and Donors

The gift that keeps on giving.

Scotch

While I don’t necessarily encourage drinking on the job, a wee dram from the bottom drawer is a great way to celebrate the end of the Messiah / Nutcracker / Christmas Carol season.

World Peace

Hey, we’re all working towards the same thing, so there’s no reason that Artistic, Marketing, Development and Finance can’t get along, right?

After thirteen years with the organization progressing through titles like New Media Specialist and Communications Manager, he recently relocated to Wagga Wagga, Australia (really) for a down-under adventure. Whichever hemisphere he's in, Philip makes time for fine food, peaty scotch, and staying up way too late playing Sim City.
